Follow the footsteps ot the popular TV series “Der Bergdoktor” in Ellmau and the other Wilder Kaiser villages. In Ellmau you’ll find the popular filming location “Bergdoktor-Praxis”. All filming locations can be explored either on foot, by bike or even by tractor. During a guided film hike, the Bergdoktor tractor ride or the fan events, you have the opportunity to take a look behind the scenes of the TV series and meet the actors in person.

Guided film hike

Explore together with film specialist and hiking guide Peter all filming locations in Ellmau. This intermediate-level hike takes you to the “Bergdoktor-Praxis” and then up to the Rübezahl mountain hut for a delicious Kaiserschmarrn. Duration: 5h / Language: only german.

Bergdoktor tractor tour

A tractor takes you to the “Gruberhof” also known as the “Bergdoktorhaus” high above Söll at the Bromberg. Tractor tours are always bookable Tuesday to Saturday and take place serveral times a day.
