The striking Wilder Kaiser peaks have always been the region’s landmarks, with countless hiking trails leading to the foot of the steep rock faces or the imposing mountain peaks. The much more grassy mountains opposite, such as the Ellmauer Hartkaiser, are easily accesbile by cable car and they are all conntected by panoramic trails, making them perfect for family hikes. Our hiking offer is quality-tested with the European Hiking Seal of Quality, so you benefit from our hiking expertise every day. From Monday to Friday you can explore the landscape on a guided tour with our guide Tom.

We are a member of Wilder Kaiser hiking specialists, an association of only 4 hosts in the Wilder Kaiser region that have been awarded with the European Hiking Seal of Quality. These are some criteria that characterise the European Hiking Seal of Quality:
- hiking expertise of your host in German and English
- guided hikes several times a week
- hiking equipment in the house (shoe washing area, hiking maps…)
- hiking starting point with overview board of hiking trails

The lifts are open from May to the end of October, like Hartkaiserbahn in Ellmau. On the grassy panoramic mountains of the Kitzbüheler Alps you’ll enjoy stunning views. The mountain adventure worlds Ellmi’s ZauberWelt, KaiserWelt or Hexenwasser are located directly at the mountain stations. All conntected by panoramic hiking trails.
Explore the region free of charge and in an environmentally friendly way, all possible with the KaiserJet hiking bus. KaiserJet runs daily (May to October) between the villages of Ellmau, Going, Scheffau and Söll. It stops at all cable cars, swimming pools and village centres. Use of the KaiserJet is free with Wilder Kaiser guest card.
