In Ellmau and the other Kaiser villages there are 170 km of marked winter hiking trails, ranging from easy to difficult. You can enjoy this gentle nature experience on your own or on a guided winter hiking tour with a trained guide.

SkiWelt Winter Hiking Pass

The SkiWelt Winter Hiking Pass is available for 3 to 6 days (2 ascents and descents daily included – 1x in the morning and 1x in the afternoon). The Winter Hiking Pass is valid for all SkiWelt entrance lifts (except KiWest), provided you get on as a pedestrian without ski equipment.

On the other hand, you can discover the nature around Ellmau and the other Kaiservillages on a snowshoe hike on unmarked paths. Either on your own or with a guide. Snowshoes and poles can be hired on site.
